  • The Empirical Research on the Relevance of R&D Input and Firm Performance of SME board listed companies   [MASS 2012]

  • ABSTRACT
  • The technology innovation is the connecting link between technological capability and competitive advantage of the enterprise, and it is also the determining factor for the survival of SMEs. In this paper, we researched 106 sample firms of China from 2008 to 2010 to study the relevance of R&D input and firm performance of SME board listed company. The results show that there was a significant positive correlation between R&D input and enterprise's profitability, but the positive linear correlation was not significant between R&D input and enterprise development capacity.
